During the summer, off shore of Isla Mujeres the upwelling and spawning of tuna concentrate and plankton sees the biggest aggregation of whale sharks known to man. This is the best opportunity to take images of these aggregating whale sharks in the world and should not be missed by any avid underwater photographer!
